Even at a 2500/10 shutter speed, the photographer got to capture motion only exactly where we want to perceive it, in paws, mane and revolting sand. I very rarely love images where the subject is centred and the horizon so low, but in this one, the majestic stamp of such astonishing bundle of bones, muscle and skin, is just a most exact icon of fortitude. An excellent work indeed."
